“Yeah, chale, it’s all good. Nobody’s behind us, no suspicious activity anywhere. It’s just me riding shotgun, with Gillie in the driver’s seat, and Jauns at the back with two of the sexiest ladies in town sandwiching him. Such a lucky son of a bitch.”

Saree and Brianna giggled at Pee-Tee’s words as the dark blue sedan they all sat in glided through the dimly lit streets on its journey to Rivermark Center. A few days had passed since their little attack on Rex’s men, and everyone at the Duplex was taking extra precautions to stay safe. So far, no credible threats had risen, but nobody was leaving anything to chance.

Darlow’s voice cackled over the line. “You this guy, eh. Play really dey your eye top waaa. Anyways, that’s good, chale. If no issues dey, then that’s good. Just remember to stay safe, got it? As for Mr. do Norte and Mr. Santos, I know them well enough. Alonso and Rafael are sticklers for procedure, but they’re suckers for a good view. The sight of Brianna and Saree will mellow them kraa. The way those two dey love pussy, eh. So just stick to the script as I told you. You’re there to be assertive. Make it clear that our deal is non-negotiable. You deliver the goods, you get the cash. Period. If them try play hardball, let the ladies do their magic. Them go fold, easy.”

“Got it, boss. We’ve got it covered, no yawa kraa,” Gillie replied, nodding as he glanced in the rearview mirror at the girls. Saree caught his gaze and gave him a sly wink, her red lips curving into a confident smile as she pulled at her short skirt. Brianna, chewing gum lazily, leaned forward to adjust her low neckline, exposing more impossible-to-ignore cleavage.

Darlow certainly knew what he was doing when he appointed them to accompany the guys on this task. Even for the guys, these two babes were devastating bombshells that would easily strip them of all their willpower. If these men were really suckers for women, then surely this was a done deal.

“Good,” Darlow responded approvingly. “Now, get the job done. And remember, those two clowns—they’re all about appearances. Show ’em what they like, and you’ll walk outta there with the money.”

The line went dead. Gillie then looked at the ladies through the rearview mirror. “Saree, you be the boss lady for matters like this. Chale, we dey look up to you ooo. In case these niggas try do dema body stubborn, you for show them something.”

“Relax, Gillie,” Saree purred, leaning back and crossing her legs deliberately. “We’ve got this. Bri and I will handle them nicely.”

“Yeah,” Brianna chimed in, smirking. “Those guys won’t know what hit them when they see these beauties.”

“Of course. Na me sef, if you know what’s hitting me when I look at those your titties.”

Everyone in the car laughed.

Twenty minutes later, and the car slowed as they approached the rendezvous point—a secluded warehouse with flickering neon lights. Two sleek cars were already parked outside, indicating the presence of the two men.

Gillie killed the engine and turned to face the others. “All right,” he said, his voice low but firm. “Let’s do this.”

The group exited the car, the girls leading the way with swaying hips and confident strides. Gillie and Pee-Tee trailed behind, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of trouble.

As far as they could see, there was nothing dodgy in sight.

They nodded in satisfaction before approaching the looming warehouse doors.

Inside, Alonso do Norte and Rafael Santos were already waiting, seated on opposite sides of a rickety table. Alonso, a wiry man with sharp features, wore a tailored suit and an impassive facial expression. Rafael, a little broader and more rugged than Alonso, leaned back in his chair, his dark eyes narrowing as the group entered.

“You’re late,” he uttered, his voice clipped. “We don’t appreciate waiting, you know.”

“And we don’t appreciate second-guessing, you know,” Gillie shot back smoothly, motioning for Saree and Brianna to step forward as he took a seat at the table. “We’re here now, aren’t we? Let’s put the lateness aside and talk business.”

Rafael’s eyes lit up the moment he noticed the girls. His gaze lingered on Brianna, his lips curling into a wolfish grin. “Mmmm… I see you’ve brought some… special accomplices.”

Saree and Brianna exchanged a knowing glance, then moved closer to the table, taking two seats nearby and sitting down. “We’re here to make things easy,” Saree announced, her voice honeyed as she deliberately crossed her legs, revealing a whole lot of thigh. Alonso’s attention was instantly hooked, zooming on her curvy legs.

Gillie glanced at Pee-Tee and Jauns, who smirked. Darlow had not been kidding; these suckers truly had a weakness for women, and were making it plain and clear.

This was going to be super easy.

“Well… let’s hope this goes well,” Alonso muttered, snapping out of his lustful observation of Saree. “Now, about the goods…”

Gillie leaned forward, his voice firm. “Yeah, about that. The deal is simple. We delivered exactly what you ordered. Now it’s time for you to hold up your end. Full payment. No delays.”

Rafael raised an eyebrow. “No delays, you say?”

Gillie shook his head. “We kept our part of the deal, Mr. Santos. It’s only fair you do same.”

For the next few minutes, Rafael and Gillie went back and forth, with each man showing their entrenched position in their arguments. While the Latino businessman felt they needed more time, Gillie stuck religiously to his master’s orders.

Stealing glances at Brianna after one submission from Gillie, Rafael chuckled. “You drive a bit of a hard bargain, you know. But you know something else? She…” He gestured at Brianna, his grin widening. “She’s got a way of making a man… reconsider his stance. Without even saying a word. Hot as hell, isn’t she?”

Brianna leaned in slightly, her lips curving into a teasing smile. Gillie smirked, knowing this was the perfect opportunity to use her to strike.

“Oh I know. She is fucking hot,” he agreed, before turning his gaze to her. “How about it, Brianna? Why don’t you convince Mr. Santos here to see things our way?”

Brianna nodded, rose to her feet, and sauntered over to Rafael, leaning down so her neckline dipped enticingly, giving him a hypnotizing view of her cleavage. She whispered something in his ear, her voice low and sultry. Rafael’s face, already in a captivated state upon viewing her neckline, grew even more surrendered as he imbibed whatever it was she was whispering.

When she straightened, Rafael turned to Alonso and whispered in his ear. Whatever he told Alonso did not seem to go down well, as Alonso whispered back in his ear. The silent communication between them went on for almost half a minute.

Gillie and the others simply sat back and grinned, knowing it was in the bag.

Suddenly, Alonso glanced over at Saree, taking in the view of her legs. She winked at him and bit her lower lip.

That seemingly turned him over to the side of Rafael. He smirked, whispered in Rafael’s ear, and the two nodded in agreement.

“You know what? We’ll oblige you,” Rafael announced, a big smile on his face. “No point in dragging the matter when the beautiful lady has convinced me to do otherwise. Alonso will get you the money.”

Gillie rose to his feet, a satisfied smirk on his lips as he watched Rafael’s gaze trail after Brianna while Alonso stepped away from the table to get the money, with Pee-Tee and Jauns following him. “Pleasure doing business, sir,” he thanked Rafael, his tone laced with triumph.

“Not a problem,” Rafael smiled. “Just, uh, let me have the white babe for a night. I swear, the shit she said in my ear got me horny instantly. And uh, reserve the Ghana babe for Alonso. He really wants to clap those cheeks.”

Gillie stifled a laugh as he shook Rafael’s hand. “Not a problem, man. Not a problem.”

The group stepped out of the warehouse minutes later, the cool evening air blowing over their faces as they laughed at the speed and simplicity of that meeting. They had not anticipated wrapping things up in about fifteen minutes, but the lust of those two had favoured them well.

Saree tossed her hair over her shoulder, her lips curving into a smug grin. “Honestly, jobs don’t get any easier than this. Men like that? Controlled by their emotions, every single time. Just show them what they want, and they’ll bend, easily.”

“No kidding,” Brianna agreed, adjusting her dress. “But you know what? It felt good to stay busy. After what happened to me…” Her voice trailed off briefly, a flicker of the awful memory of the assault crossing her face before she masked it with a smile. “This was just what I needed to get my mind off things.”

Saree patted her on the back. “Exactly. And now that you’ve got your first taste of the seduction art, it’s gonna be the start of a long and juicy career.”

Brianna laughed and nodded. “I know that’s right.”

The guys were also in stitches. “Chale, the Rafael guy,” Pee-Tee guffawed, “the way he dey eye Brianna, ibi like he go fit hand over ein life savings for her.”

“I swear, my guy!” Jauns concurred. “Your man see the titties norr, he weak. I no dey blame am, mohm.”

“And Alonso too,” Gillie added. “He dey try do hard guy hard guy, but chale, Saree ein body just dey weak am. Chale, we dey need more assignments like this. Simple and sweet assignments with thirsty ass niggas like these horny kwasias. Cool breeze.”

They climbed into the car, still laughing and trading quips as they readied themselves to return home after another successful mission.

Gillie started the engine, and the sedan roared to life as usual.

And then, a sharp, rhythmic beeping suddenly filled the car.

Gillie’s brow furrowed, his hands tightening on the wheel.

“What the hell is that?” Pee-Tee asked, looking around nervously.

The beeping grew louder, quicker and more insistent. Saree’s laughter died abruptly, replaced by a look of alarm. “What the hell is that? It almost sounds like…”

The final word failed to escape her throat, as everyone suddenly guessed what it was.

In milliseconds, the atmosphere went from light-hearted to supreme terror.

It was suddenly clear: while they were in, someone had attached a bomb to the car. And now, they were in serious danger.

With only seconds to spare.

Gillie screamed as he flung his door open, the rest following suit.

“EVERYONE GET OUT OF THE–“

BOOM!

The explosion ripped through the night, a fireball erupting from the car and instantly quenching every single person in and around it. As shards of metal and glass flew into the air like deadly confetti, and the shockwave shook the ground, the smouldering vehicle billowed with flames, destroying everything in its sight.

In those few seconds, this group of Duplex associates and concubines had been wiped out.

Blown to bits by a surprise blast.

“Koni, the two dudes in the warehouse have stepped out.”

“Take ’em out.”

Two sniper shots later, and the two businessmen, who were rushing to the burning car to try and salvage a hopeless situation, lay dead on the ground.

“Targets down.”

“Excellent.”

Koni and G-Tack, moving out of their hiding cavern, slowly approached the inferno before them. Koni held up a phone, recording the event from the moment the group got into the car, while G-Tack held the rifle close, ready to take down any observer.

Koni sniggered evilly. “Stupid motherfuckers!” he cackled. “I only needed five minutes to stick a UVIED under your car while y’all were in there. Thought y’all were smarter than us, huh? That’s what you fools get for fucking with us!”

“Oh, they deserved it. Every fucking bit of it,” G-Tack concurred, lowering the rifle. “Kwasiafuo. You touch our own and think we won’t retaliate? Idiots!”

“They make me laugh, nigga. We got them and got them good. And Boss is gonna love this. He’s gonna fucking love it! Nobody fucks with Rex Bruschi and stays in one piece. Absolutely nobody!”

Damn!! We knew they’d hit back, but this hard? A car bomb? Damn, that’s just cruel!
