It’s been quite an unexpected turn, hasn’t it? This is what you call a love experiment gone horribly wrong. But as we end, we can only wonder, what has Boris planned for her, and is Lara gonna apologize? Let’s go ahead and see…
Lara woke up late in the afternoon to breakfast in bed, and her heart could not take it.
She’d tried to tire Boris out last night, but he’d done exactly as she’d asked and saved up all the energy he knew he’d need. When she pulled him out of her, and then redirected him to where she’d promised to allow him to go, the shock on his face cracked her up. He was so gentle with her when he got in that she actually enjoyed it, and she wondered why she’d never let him do it before. He made the most of it and got a prop to help make it easy for her, and the pleasure drove her sky-high. He didn’t stay there long, though, and went right back to the better spot, still with the prop.
By the time he was done with her, she was thoroughly spent. Hence the breakfast of milo, eggs, bacon, waffles and avocado. He knew she needed her strength replenished.
How was she meant to confess to him when he kept doing all these things which she liked so much? She took a bite out of the waffles and her taste buds went into a frenzy. “Gaaddemmit. When did you learn how to cook? This is really good. You have to tell me your recipe.”
“That information is classified. Bon appetit.”
Lara rolled her eyes at him and went in on her meal while he watched. “Aren’t you eating anything? You have to eat before you go oo.”
Boris smirked. “You’ve slept so long that you don’t realize its already 3pm.”
Lara gave him an incredulous look and then checked her phone, and was stunned; it really was 3pm.
“Motherf*cker, this is your fault. You destroyed me last night.”
“As I should’ve, you feral monster. Also, thanks for the extra treat. I didn’t expect to get that second entry point even though you promised it.”
Lara shook her head. “Had to break my virginity sometime. For what it’s worth, I should’ve broken it with you a lot sooner. You knew what the hell you were doing and it felt great.”
“That’s my ass now. Better not give it out to anyone.”
Lara rolled her eyes again and enjoyed her food.
*********
The Uber pulled up to the arrival terminal, and Lara had still not worked up the courage to confess her crimes to Boris. She couldn’t work up the nerve to break his heart after all his sweetness to her this day. He was clearly still under the influence of the drug, so maybe she’d be able to get away with telling him. But she’d felt that telling him might snap him out of it; whose brain could stay drugged after being hit with this kind of bomb?
She decided it was better to tell him when he was out of sight. That would save her the heartache of watching him process all of it. What had started out as a mission to prove that he loved her had now turned into an enslavement of her best friend. She wasn’t sure if she’d be able to live with herself, but she was going to try.
They got out of the car and Boris got his suitcases out.
“Alright, my love, thank you for everything. Enjoy your new home, make more money, try not to miss me.”
“I won’t miss you biaa. And thanks for everything. You’ve changed my life forever. I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done for me. My ass can’t wait till you get back, so you better not stay away too long.”
They hugged and kissed, and then she sat back in the car. Boris leaned in the window for one final kiss.
“Better finish that smoothie. I didn’t spend all morning making it so you could throw it away.”
“Yes boss. Call me when you get through security.”
******
Lara arrived at her house, feeling slightly off. The smoothie was good, but it was also heavy, so she’d felt somewhat like a sleepy potato. She got out of the car and walked through the gate, and was met by five guys waiting in the compound. She knew in her mind that they were not supposed to be there, but she had neither the strength nor the presence of mind to ask them why they were there.
One of the guys walked up to her. “Sweetie, I hear you like it in the backdoor. We’re going to have a lot of fun with you.”
Then he carried her inside with the other four following suit.

“Bro, I just got the call from Expero. The girl is in the bag. He’s waiting for confirmation that you really want the boys to go to town.”
Boris sat in the terminal, processing what Elvis had just told him. He could just leave Lara drugged in her house, call off the boys, and never speak to her ever again. That would be the right thing to do, the honorable thing. He’d spent his life being a good guy; one incident from a wicked girl shouldn’t change him for the worse. What would he look like allowing those boys to run train on his best friend?
“Ex-, best friend…” he muttered to himself. The bad elements in his mind began to build their resistance. He checked his bank account, and what was five dollars a week ago was now back to a healthy amount. It was a good thing that he’d managed to talk Sarah into asking her husband to give him access to one of his lesser-known houses. It would’ve been stupid expensive to actually rent a house, and no landlord in his right mind would do a temporary rental for a month. Even hearing his story wouldn’t make them change their minds on that.
Thankfully, Sarah came through, but she didn’t know about this part of the plan. She’d begged him to take the non-violent path, but she wasn’t the one who had been drugged into being a full-blown mumu.
All the pastry appliances were actually loaned from Norkor, who was thoroughly disgusted enough with her friend to play a part in teaching her a proper lesson. She was the least close one to Lara in the squad, so Lara only knew she was into pastry-making. She had no idea that she’d started a bakery about a year ago, and had bought the very same appliances that Lara now needed. She even threw in a recipe book to give the charade more juice, and had actually made the smoothie at Boris’ request.
Unlike Sarah, Norkor was on board with taking the low road all the way to the floor. She also knew the exact smoothie Lara would love, and had offered to make one when Boris asked. She didn’t know what it was for, but she knew Boris wasn’t going near the high road. Anything to help the cause was fine with her; her now ex-friend deserved whatever she had coming to her.
By the time he landed tomorrow, Lara would already have been evicted by some fake landlord, and all her appliances would be taken away. Not that it would matter as much; she still had her granduncle’s house. But, her life would forever be changed. Forgiveness did not have to mean inaction; it would be irresponsible for him to allow her to get away with this.
“Have they confirmed that the other one’s been secured?”
Elvis paused for a second. “Bruh, are you sure this is what you want? I know you, you have a conscience. This will change you forever. Are you sure this is how you want to move?”
“Do they have the other one, Elvis?”
Elvis sighed. “Yeah, she’s all tied up and ready to go.”
Boris paused again. The flight attendants had begun the boarding process, and they’d reached his section.
Elvis did have a point. This was not him at all. He’d rather let it go and lick his wounds. He walked through the gate, still deciding as Elvis waited. He put his carry-on in the overhead bin and sat down, still thinking about it.
“You know, bro, I could just call them off. The fear’s bad enough for the one who’s tied up. She’d most likely just tell the other one once she comes to, and might scare them out of this bullsh*t. I respect you as a man, and I hate that this happened to you. As much as me naa I bore wey I supply the drugs for the project, I’d really hate to see you change for the worse. Don’t be like me, bro. Be better. Take the hit and keep it moving, man. Better girls dey than this one.”
Elvis didn’t know it, but he’d just made it easier for Boris. “Bro, I hope you never know what it’s like to literally be mindf*cked by someone you trust with your life. The bitch had my house keys and my Gh phone and sim. If she could do this to me, what makes you think she can’t sell my house? Or even worse, kill me? I’m not going to become a vengeful man, but my mind will not have any peace knowing what my own best friend almost did to me.”
The line went quiet for a bit, and then Elvis broke the silence. “My man. You sounded like you wanted me to talk you out of it, but truth be told I would’ve blasted your stupid ass when you landed if you hadn’t chosen vawulence. You went through a month of hell, man! You wouldn’t have been able to pay your bills or trust yourself ever again. Now, I need to hear you say it.”
The flight attendant came through the cabin to announce that boarding was complete, and phones needed to be turned off.
Boris smiled.
“Tell the boys to have a good time.”
THE END
Jeeez, that’s a pretty… cold ending. I don’t think you’d like to imagine what happened with Lara and her friend. But yeah, you reap what you sow, I guess. There was no need for her to charm her bestie like that and use him so heartlessly. That was wickedness, and wickedness begets wickedness, I guess…
